Jacques Beauséjours' Nike Apache on an Estes A8-3
| Time at Liftoff: | 14:48:44 |
| Flight Duration in Seconds: | 14 |
| To quote Yves, this was "un vol short & sweet" on an Estes A8-3. Perfect flight and recovery. |
Sylvain Gagnon's Stretched LOC/Precision Onyx on an Aerotech G35-7W Econojet
| Time at Liftoff: | 14:50:04 |
| Flight Duration in Seconds: | 50 |
| A very loud & impressive flight on an Aerotech G35 Econojet... Yves commented that this was one of his favorite rockets. |
Isabel Deslauriers' Estes Death Star on an Estes C6-5
| Time at Liftoff: | 14:56:27 |
| Flight Duration in Seconds: | 21 |
| This flight was a surprise to me since I didn't know that the Death Star at the top of this rocket would split apart into several streamer recovered pieces... Very cool! The recovery is difficult to see in the photo at left since I chose to keep the camera zoomed out to try to keep all the pieces in frame. |
| Time at Liftoff: | 14:57:18 |
| Flight Duration in Seconds: | 11 |
Dominique Martel's LOC/Precision Onyx on an Aerotech F25-4W
| Time at Liftoff: | 14:58:37 |
| Flight Duration in Seconds: | 65 |
| Gotta love the smoke that just pours out of those F25's!!! A perfect flight and recovery for this LOC Onyx. |
Flight 455, 106th
flight this year
Keith Bedard's Estes Der Big Red Max on an Estes C6-3 for its 6th
flight
| Time at Liftoff: | 15:07:44 |
| Flight Duration in Seconds: | 45 |
| My own 20+ year old Big Red Max flew for only its sixth time under my ownership today. A science teacher from my high school gave me this rocket back in 1985 and it had been in the school's rocket club since the late seventies until the club closed up in the early eighties. |
Isabel Deslauriers' Estes Longshot on an Estes D12-0 staging to an Estes C6-7
| Time at Liftoff: | 15:08:49 |
| Flight Duration in Seconds: | 40 |
| Isabel flew her Longshot on the same motor combination that I tried earlier and the flight was picture perfect with a streamer landing about 500 feet west of the pad. This thing went REALLY high! | |
Sylvain Gagnon's Estes Orbital Transport on an Estes C5-3
| Time at Liftoff: | 15:18:41 |
| Flight Duration in Seconds: | 32 |
| Sylvain's Orbital Transport was a very cool blast from the past with a great boost and a nice recovery near the parking area except that the glider nosed in for a crash landing. At least it didn't drift far! :-) |
Jean-Marc Palmier's North Coast Rocketry SA-14 Archer on an Aerotech G80-7T
| Time at Liftoff: | 15:19:35 |
| Flight Duration in Seconds: | 22 |
| With the zipper that was caused by the four second delay on the last motor that Jean-Marc used, he decided to try a seven second delay this time. Unfortunately, the result was another zipper with the delay being too long this time. Yves commented that it was a shame that Aerotech didn't make G80's in a five second delay. |
Jacques Beauséjours' Aerotech G-Force on an Aerotech G35-4W Econojet
| Time at Liftoff: | 15:20:32 |
| Flight Duration in Seconds: | 41 |
| Jacques sent up his G-Force again, this on an G35 Econojet motor. I've gotta get myself some of these since they produce a lot of smoke and they are LOUD!!! :-) |
