Flight 456, 107th flight this year
Keith Bedard's Estes Python on an Estes D12-5 for its 10th flight

Time at Liftoff: 15:30:34
Flight Duration in Seconds: 35
My Estes Python made a perfect flight & recovery for its tenth flight... Now when I get that @#@$!% motor casing out, I'll be able to fly it again!

Jacques Beauséjours' Estes Skywinder on an Estes C6-3

Time at Liftoff: 15:31:40
Flight Duration in Seconds: 21
Jacques' Skywinder had a great boost and then the tail section popped off at apogee.  The recovery system still function the way it was supposed to though.

Nick Palis' scratch built Atria on an Estes D12-7

Time at Liftoff: 15:32:22
Flight Duration in Seconds: 33

Flight 457, 108th flight this year
Keith Bedard's scratch built Black Bertha on a cluster of two Estes B4-4's for its 12th flight

Time at Liftoff: 15:48:53
Flight Duration in Seconds: 45
The only cluster flight of the day, my 1982 vintage Black Bertha (formerly Big Bertha II) went up on a pair of B4-4's for a perfect flight and a nice recovery behind the parking area.

Jacques Beauséjours' Aerotech Initiator on an Aerotech F25-6W

Time at Liftoff: 15:49:58
Flight Duration in Seconds: 81
Jacques sent up his Initiator on an F25 for a very smokey and spectacular flight lasting well over a minute... and to think I was hoping to put a G in mine one day!

Sylvain Gagnon's Launch Pad Army Hawk on an Aerotech E15-4W

Time at Liftoff: 16:01:47
Flight Duration in Seconds: 40
We got to see a repeat performance of Sylvain's very cool Army Hawk from The Launch Pad, this time on an E15 and the result was another sharp turn at a few hundred feet altitude.

Dominique Martel's Advanced Rocketry Group Evolution III on an Aerotech G40-4W

Time at Liftoff: 16:03:36
Flight Duration in Seconds: 35
I'm not even sure if this rocket is an Evolution III or another model since I'm not that familiar with ARG's kits, but this was one cool rocket to watch and it's tough as nails too since it arced over past apogee and everyone thought a zipper would surely be the result, but that wasn't the case.  It landed quite close to the pad for a safe recovery and no damage.

Keith Bedard's Estes Ninja 01 on a Centuri A4-6M for its 8th flight

Time at Liftoff: 16:13:15
Flight Duration in Seconds: 12
My own Estes Ninja went up on a 1973 vintage Centuri A4-6M after one misfire & a cleaning of the nozzle and it was the last flight that I was able to film before the end of the launch day since it took off on a neutrally stable flight path towards the other end of the field and it took my mother and myself a half hour of searching to find it.  Eventually my mother found it in a patch of (thankfully) shorter grass.  My lesson is learned... Don't fly really tiny rockets in a huge field with really long grass!

While I was in the field looking in the tall grass for my elusive Estes Ninja, Jacques Beauséjours launched his Estes Whiplash on an Estes 1/2A6-4.  Our club vice president Sylvain Gagnon flew his Launch Pad Army Hawk again on an Aerotech E30-4T.  Once again, it snapped into "cruise mode" again, going horizontal after climbing vertically for a few hundred feet.  Jacques sent up his Astrocam 110 again, this time on a C6-3.

By the time I returned with my Ninja, the launch site was already mostly packed away.  A great day of flying for all!
