Launch

Launch Report for Saturday, September 8th, 2001
(Salvo 10)

Keith Bedard's Aerotech Initiator on an Aerotech E30-4T for its 3rd flight

To start off this salvo, my own Initiator blasted into the air on an E30 it landed just outside the recovery area just before that row of trees that claimed so many rockets today... and this was with a smaller chute.  I was lucky to get this one back.

Kemal's unknown scratch built rocket on an Aerotech E30

Another of Kemal's scratch built models was next up on an E30 for a very high speed flight.

LOC/Precision Aura on an Aerotech E15-7W

A LOC Aura was next up on an E15-7 for another high speed and high altitude flight.  I lost sight of this one...

Isabel Deslauriers' scratch built Balsa Eagle on an Estes D12-5

Another original looking scratch built, Isabel's Balsa Eagle made a nice flight on a D12-5 landing near that deadly row of trees again.  One fin broke off and to my knowledge was never recovered.

PML Endeavor on an Aerotech F50

This PML Endeavor was next up on an F50 for a great flight and nearby recovery in the bean field.

Estes Sidewinder on an Estes B6-4

Next up was a very nicely constructed Estes AIM-9 Sidewinder on a B6-4 for a great flight and a recovery close to the forest again.

Sylvain Gagnon's Contest Rocket on an Aerotech F25

Sylvain launched his rocket that the kit of which was issued by the club for our F altitude and spot landing competitions on an F25.  This one landed very far away into the bean field just near the adjacent corn field.

Jacques Beauséjours' Aerotech HV Arcas on an Aerotech E30-4T

Jacques sent up his Aerotech HV Arcas on an E30 next for a nice low altitude flight and a recovery close the launch area.
