Launch Report for Saturday, September 29th, 2001
(Salvo 3)

Anthony Brohan's scratch built Fat Boy XXS on three Estes A10-3T for its 1st flight

Time at Liftoff: 13:05:46
Flight Duration in Seconds: 6(?)
Anthony's scratch built Fat Boy XXS made its first flight on a cluster of three  A10-3T's.  Unfortunately, I missed taping this flight since I accidentally stopped the camera just at ignition.  The rocket went unstable and landed about 30 feet northwest of the pad.

Jacques Beauséjours' Aerotech Mustang on an Aerotech E15-7W

Time at Liftoff: 13:06:29
Flight Duration in Seconds: 38
Jacques sent up his Aerotech Mustang next on an E15-7 for a perfect flight with deployment just slightly past apogee and a landing just slightly north of the launch area.

Jacques Beauséjours' Estes Jupiter C on an Estes C6-3

Time at Liftoff: 13:07:36
Flight Duration in Seconds: 30
Jacques was up next again, this time with his Jupiter C which I'm assuming is an older Estes kit on a C6-3.  Perfect flight with another nearby landing northwest of the launch area.

Jean-Denis Rivet's Aerotech Sumo on an Aerotech F25-6W

Time at Liftoff: 13:08:30
Flight Duration in Seconds: 84
This was my first time seeing one of the new Aerotech Sumo's fly.  Jean-Denis sent his up on an F25-6 which may be for its first ever flight.  It got a surprising amount of speed altitude for a four inch diameter kit.  One of our fliers jokingly commented that with the speed that it went up, maybe there was no parachute on board. :)

Aerotech Mirage (shortened) on an Aerotech G80-7T

Time at Liftoff: 13:10:19
Flight Duration in Seconds: 66
This Aerotech Mirage which apparently was built with two airframe sections instead of the three that came with the kit was up next for the first G flight of the day.  Nice loud boost arcing over a bit past apogee before deployment and then landing a few hundred feet west of the pad.  This one carried an altimeter on board which I'm guessing was used for deployment in this case since the delay on this G80 clearly wasn't seven seconds.
