(Salvo 4)

Jean-Simon's Aerotech Arreaux on an Aerotech F22-5J

Time at Liftoff: 13:32:11
Flight Duration in Seconds: 54

Flight 602, 121st flight this year
Keith Bedard's Aerotech Arreaux on an Aerotech E16-4W for its 7th flight

Time at Liftoff: 13:32:15
Flight Duration in Seconds: 28
With reloadable motors just having been approved for sale here in Canada, we wanted to start using them at our monthly launches.  Both Jean-Simon & I announced prior to this launch our intention to fly reloads today and to hopefully be the first in the club to use a reloadable motor at a monthly launch.

Since we were both flying Aerotech Arreaux's and both using RMS's, we decided to have a drag race.  Jean-Simon's F22-5 Blackjack motor lit first and this was my first time seeing a Blackjack live.  My E16-4 lit a few seconds afterwards and carried my Arreaux and its onboard Transroc II beeper into the air for a perfect flight and landing a couple hundred feet west of the pad.  Jean-Simon's rocket got some serious altitude on that F22 for a super cool flight which unfortunately ended with a landing not too far into the corn field just beyond the recovery area.  A detailed search was unable to find the rocket and the nearly as expensive 29mm reloadable motor casing.

Although Jean-Simon lost the rocket, he now has the honor of being the first of our members to have used an RMS at a monthly launch.

Marc Ouellette's' Aerotech HV Arcas on an Aerotech F50-6T

Time at Liftoff: 13:34:18
Flight Duration in Seconds: 39
Marc's nicely painted HV Arcas was next up on an F50-6 for a perfect flight and landing just west of the pad with the onboard beeper (a personal alarm bought from Canadian Tire) being clearly audible.

Jacques Beauséjours' Estes Astrocam 110 on an Estes C6-7

Time at Liftoff: 13:35:17
Flight Duration in Seconds: 29
Jacques' Astrocam 110 was up next on a C6-7... can hardly wait to see the photo!

Richard Sylvain's scratch built contest rocket on an Aerotech F50-6T

Time at Liftoff: 13:37:14
Flight Duration in Seconds: 27
Richard's nicely finished contest rocket was up next on an F50-6.  Very nice flight with an unfortunate landing in the only power line in the area!

Anthony Brohan's Estes Viking on an Estes C6-7

Time at Liftoff: 13:38:54
Flight Duration in Seconds: 31
Anthony's Estes Viking was up next on a C6-7.  He always flies this rocket on C6-7's and he always gets it back.  Don't ask me how...
