Launch Report for Saturday, September 29th, 2001
(Salvo 9)

As I was digging my Aerotech HV Arcas out of the forest, I missed all the flights of Salvo 8 and so I was unable to get any photos of the those flights.  The sounds of the seventh salvo could be clearly heard and echoed loudly throughout the forest.  The sound of these things from a distance is quite different from being close up and it carries quite far.

LOC/Precision Mini Magg on an Aerotech G80-4T

Time at Liftoff: 15:08:29
Flight Duration in Seconds: 80
This is my first time seeing a LOC Mini Magg fly live.  This one blasted into the sky on a G80-4 and its descent on its huge chute was as spectacular as its ascent.  This flight had one of the longest durations of the day.

Yves Lacombe's LOC/Precision Onyx (stretched) on an Aerotech F25-6W

Time at Liftoff: 15:10:12
Flight Duration in Seconds: 31
Next up was Yves with his stretched LOC Onyx flying for the second time today.  A super cool flight on an F25-6 and a landing not too far west of the pad.

Marie Claude's LOC/Precision Vulcanite on an Aerotech F50-6T

Time at Liftoff: 15:11:08
Flight Duration in Seconds: 49
